Clubs and Activities

Student Life

Getting out and exploring will be part of your experience.  There is a club or organization for you and, if there is not, we can’t wait to see what you will start.  From club trips overseas to a group of friends renting kayaks for an afternoon, it is easy to connect here.

At Carroll, there's tons of opportunities for students to be involved.

Anything from the Gaming Club to GSA, Gay-Straight Alliance Club on campus. Engineers Without Borders is something that I'm involved in. They take students of all different majors and backgrounds to work on a bunch of different surface projects abroad.

Talking Saints are a forensics club on campus, and they've won 29 championships in a row. CAMP stands for Carroll's Adventure and Mountaineering Program.

It's probably my favorite thing about Carroll.

CAMP does cool activities throughout the year.

Kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding and outdoor rock climbing and just regular hiking and backpacking-- and then, in the wintertime, we're also snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. And it's a whole lot of fun.

We have a whole bunch of equipment available to Carroll's students through the program-- pretty much anything you need to go on any kind of outdoor adventure. Very cheap for students to rent out. We have lots of intramural sports available to us.

In the fall, we have football. Winter, we have basketball. We just got done with volleyball.

There is a lot of rock climbing that I got really into.

The Hunthausen Activity Center was built a couple of years ago.

It's a really nice facility.

We have brand new equipment in there for students to use for lifting, working out. We have studios for people who want to dance or do yoga classes. We have a full-sized basketball court.

And then, it has a rock wall, as well, which is a lot of fun.
